Job Title: Telecommunication Program Manager
Job Summary:
The Telecommunication Program Manager is responsible for increasing sales and market share for the assigned accounts or territory as defined. Provides critical power system market requirement information and is active in the development of products. Handles all account management activity within assignment. Perform field promotion work to sell and develop new business accounts. Demonstrate products / services and provides assistance in the best application of the product. May coordinate company technical engineering services to determine customers' needs. Must anticipate, recognize and leverage opportunities for new business (program shifts, past lost bids, superior product/solution) Subject to company approval, recommends prices, terms of sales, delivery dates, etc. Investigate product / service warranty claims and ensure resolution of customer complaints following marketing policies. As required, inform the company relative to marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing. Complete required activity and expense reports.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend strategies to build orders for all products   and works independently in the field.
- Works closely with engineering to develop products based on   market needs.
- Responsible for developing market/sales forecasts for given   territory / accounts.
- Solicit and maintain favorable contacts with current and potential   key accounts.
- Develop sales of products and/or services by researching and   resolving customer problems, recommending modifications to the   product/service line, and coordinating sales negotiations with   appropriate personnel.
- Will be responsible for achieving sales goals and evaluating margins   for given products.
- Manage accounts and coordinate activities and entertainment for   the accounts to build orders in field.
- Participate at trade shows and major customer events as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to respond to opportunities,   resolve problems, expedite service and delivery, maintain high level   of customer satisfaction and protect existing market share.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Good oral, written and presentation skills
- Telecom power experience
- In-depth battery technology experience
- At least five years experience working with major Telecom provider

Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

Travel:
Ability to travel 25% to 50%
