Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Summary:
This position provides electrical engineering support for stationary products and is responsible for the technical requirements assessment, electrical product specification and engineering of stationary products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electronic control module and other component specifications.
- Develop circuit designs as required to meet objectives of the products.
- Assess certification requirements and ensure design meets applicable requirements (UL, etc.)
- Prepare technical reports.
- Oversee fabrication of electrical subassemblies for prototypes.
- Develop test plans for electrical portions of stationary solutions.
- Manage and develop component suppliers for electrical components within stationary solutions.
- Develop new product solutions from existing component building blocks.
- Support quality requirements by ensuring quality practices followed.
- Participate in development of FMEAs and other applicable documentation.
- Release of electrical parts within stationary solutions.
- Specification, evaluation and procurement of necessary electrical lab equipment.
- Development of software for test equipment control when required.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Strong analog circuit design background.
- Strong background in reliable electronic systems.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
