Job Title: ERP System Specialist
Job Summary:
The ERP System Specialist will work closely with the functional departments to ensure maximum functionality of the Company ERP system.
Responsibilities:
- Be or become the in-house expert on the Axapta ERP
- Maintain and/or modify the system to improve functionality
- Maintain and/or modify the system to improve security, including audit trail
- Provide all levels of training as necessary
- Develop and/or maintain policies, procedures and documentation to support the quality goals of the Company
- Develop reports to allow users to easily obtain necessary information
- Work collaboratively with multiple departments:
- Sales and Marketing
- Purchasing
- Product Development
- Manufacturing
- Accounting
- IT
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Strong ERP experience required, i.e. SAP, Oracle, Great Plains, etc.
- Experience with Axapta preferred
- Minimum 3 yrs experience administering an ERP system
- Good understanding of MS SQL database
- Strong understanding of accounting, purchasing, inventory, engineering and manufacturing processes
- Strong technical and communication skills
Education:
BA or BS in Computer Science or related fields required.
