Job Title: Account Manager
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for achieving the sales and revenue targets within the assigned geographic territory. The position will also be responsible for selecting, training, directing a manufacturers' representative sales force within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed the assigned sales revenue and profit targets
- Identify and develop new manufacturers' representatives
- Identify and develop new customers/applications for Cobasys that are consistent with the business objectives.
- Provide timely market and competitive intelligence
- Coordinate all business aspects aimed at achieving total customer satisfaction
- Make recommendation for the development of new product or programs that increase revenues and/or profits.
- Prepare timely reports on business and market activities
- Participate at trade shows and major customer events as assigned
- Manage company resources effectively to reduce/eliminate waste or abuse
- The account manager is expected to perform other unspecified task that may be assigned by management.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- At least 5 to 10 years of direct sales experience
- Current/previous sales experience in the UPS, Telecommunications or related industries are preferred.
- Experience managing an indirect sales force
- Good oral, written and presentation skills
- Computer skills
o Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
