Job Title: Software Developer
Job Summary:
Development of software applications to support Controls Group deliverables, in response to customer (internal and external) requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop PC based software for diagnostic tools, end of line testers and other data collection tools.
- Work with a strong teamwork understanding in the implementation of well-thought systems level solutions.
- Develop software requirements in conjunction with the systems engineers.
- Work closely with the Quality group to implement software quality assurance procedures.
- Document all generated software as required in support of our quality goals.
- Develop supporting software for interfacing our products with outside resources such as laptops, building management systems and third-party data acquisition systems.
- Determine software operating requirements and implement new desired features.
- Keep software maintenance schedule.
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Strong ability in software development for PC (windows based) and embedded applications
- Good understanding of hardware/software performance
- Good analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Familiarity with CASE tools a plus
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Proficient in BuilderC++ preferred
- Knowledge of communications buses (CAN, RS232, RS485) preferred
Bachelor�s degree or equivalent work experience
