Job Title: Account Manager � Transportation
Job Summary:
Direct management of transportation sales accounts. Working with customers on program development, program costing, piece price, warranty etc. Person will have the responsibility of organizing internal company resources to maximize utility in response to customer needs. Up to 50% travel in local area.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed the assigned sales revenue and profit targets
- Identify and develop new customers/applications for Cobasys that are consistent with business objectives.
- Provide timely market and competitive intelligence
- Coordinate all business aspects aimed at achieving total customer satisfaction
- Make recommendation for the development of new product or programs that increase revenues and/or profits.
- Prepare timely reports on business and market activities
- Participate at trade shows and major customer events as assigned
- Manage company resources effectively to reduce/eliminate waste or abuse
- The account manager is expected to perform other unspecified tasks that may be assigned by management.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of direct sales experience / Account management into the automotive OEM business
- Good oral, written and presentation skills
- Computer skills
- Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Must have experience working with automotive companies and be familiar with purchasing processes.
BA/BS degree
